Driebergen-Zeist
Processing and placing of reinforcements 2750 tonnes
2017
There will be a new station, with a new bus station and a new car park with about 600 parking spaces. The cyclists are also thought of. Under the station comes a bicycle shed where cyclists can park their bikes dry and safely. Moreover, the cyclists get their own cycle route so they can safely cross the station area.
In the new situation, the station square runs under the tracks. That means no more unsafe situations where pedestrians run across the track to catch their train.
The new station must become as energy neutral as possible. Therefore, the platform covers are equipped with solar panels. The trees around the station are moved or compensated where possible by planting new trees. The Driebergen-Zeist railway station is also an important entrance to the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park and to the Lustwarande station.
ProRail works at Driebergen-Zeist station on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, the province of Utrecht, the municipalities of Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Zeist. In 2017 we start building, and in 2021 the station was completely renewed.
PALMAX will process approximately 2750 tonnes of reinforcement steel, incl. additional work.
We'll call you in 48 hours for a consult.
