Antwerp Gas Terminal (AGT) N.V. (Kallo), owned by Oil Tanking last year, builds the largest European butane tank in Antwerp. It will enable Ineos to buy butane worldwide and store it in large quantities in the Scheldt harbour. The new tank storage capacity and the new scaffolding involve an investment of EUR 100 million.

With the construction of a 135.000 m3 butane tank, the company will in 2019 double the capacity of its terminal on the left Scheldeoever to 273.000 m3. This makes the company the largest independent gas terminal in North-West Europe.

Worldwide Ineos invests USD 1 billion in its new butane supply chain. In the long term, this redrawing will involve an additional traffic of 0.5 to 1 million tonnes of butane.

PALMAX will process approximately 2000 tonnes of reinforcement steel, incl. additional work.
