The Erasmus line will branch off the existing rail at the Schenkviaduct on the north side. A new viaduct is being built, resting on columns. This viaduct crosses the Bernardviaduct above, so there is no need for a railway crossing.

The new end stop is partly above and partly next to the bus platform. Architect firm Zwarts & Jansma made the design of the new stop. They have also designed the new ADO stadium and the net stocking in the Beatrix Quarter. In 2016, the new end stop will be ready for use.
